CeeDee Lamb comes off a huge game, catching 11 passes for 150 yards and 2 TDs at Green Bay. The Cowboys are at Minnesota this week, and I think Lamb is poised to keep things going. The Vikings have struggled to cover wide receivers all season.
Since Week 1, when the Packers didn't have Allen Lazard available and their entire offense struggled (their leading receiver was running back AJ Dillon), here's how opposing wide receivers have fared against Minnesota. Listed are the No. 1 wide receivers for each team, and the No. 2s when that player also put up significant production (at least 80 yards, or a touchdown).
Lots of wide receivers have done well against the Vikings this year. Lamb should be the latest. Michael Gallup? That's a tougher sell, with Noah Brown also a possibility to be the second-best wideout. But a good situation for these receivers.
