David Blough is starting for Arizona. Jarrett Stidham is taking over for the Raiders. And we’re up to 64 different starting quarterbacks. That ties for the most in the 32-team era.
It’s about a half dozen more than you would expect at this point in the season.
Since the league moved to 32 teams, we’ve more commonly seen about 53-58 starting quarterbacks each year.
You have to go back to 2007 to find as many different players starting at quarterback. We could still exceed that total this season (though it would come with there being an extra week in the season).
The most stability came in 2012, with only 47 different starters.
