Wide receiver Zay Jones is not wasting time finding his next NFL team after the Jacksonville Jaguars released him last week. This time, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter said he will visit the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Thursday.
The Chiefs will be the fourth team the former East Carolina standout will visit. Schefter added that the 2016 First Team All-American visited the Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys. Joining the Titans looks bleak after they've signed Tyler Boyd to a one-year, $4.5 million deal. Meanwhile, the Cowboys could use more help beyond CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks.
Former Jaguars WR Zay Jones is scheduled to visit Thursday with the Kansas City Chiefs, per league sources.

The Cardinals could use him even if they selected Marvin Harrison Jr. with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 draft. Finally, the Chiefs are rebuilding their wide receiver rotation after releasing Marquez Valdes-Scantling while Richie James and Mecole Hardman Jr. remain free agents.
In addition to signing Marquise Brown, the Chiefs used their first-round pick on former Texas wideout Xavier Worthy and signed undrafted free-agent wide receivers Phillip Brooks and Reggie Brown.
Last season, Jones finished with 274 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the Jaguars. Those numbers are far from 823 yards and five touchdowns in 2022. In addition to the Jaguars, Jones played for the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders.
While he could sign with one of those teams, his place in the final 53-man roster for Week 1 isn't guaranteed. He must prove himself worthy during training camp to keep playing in the NFL.
