Rams Maximizing RBs Kyren Williams And Blake Corum At Special Teams

The Los Angeles Rams are gearing up for another season, hoping to improve on last year's Wild Card Round exit. Therefore, running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum will be invaluable in their quest for a deep playoff run.

However, besides their roles on offense, the Rams will also rely on them on special teams. As BroBible NFL writer Dov Kleiman tweeted, Williams will be their primary punt returner while Corum is in charge of kick returns.

There is optimism regarding the Rams' talented RB duo, especially after what Williams displayed last season. The third-year player from Notre Dame earned a Pro Bowl and a Second-Team All-Pro selection after tallying 1,144 rushing yards, 206 receiving yards, and 15 total touchdowns in 12 games.

Meanwhile, Corum is one of the best running backs from the 2024 draft class, and the Rams might have found another viable contributor in the third round. In addition to the National Championship he won with the Michigan Wolverines, he was that game's MVP, which is a perfect ending to his Unanimous All-American nod.

In his last two seasons with the Wolverines, Corum tallied 2,708 rushing yards and 45 touchdowns. Replicating that production level in the NFL could make the Rams a sleeper NFC contender for the 2024 NFL season.
