Creative Artists Agency Part Ways With Haason Reddick

Creative Artists Agency dropped edge rusher Haason Reddick from their clientele due to his ongoing holdout from the New York Jets. He continues to hold out from the team that traded for him in the offseason.

Skipping the entire 2024 NFL season forces him to lose $21.75 million. That amount includes his $14.25 million base salary, $4.5 million in total fines for missing all 17 regular season games, and another $3 million in bonus forfeiture. Spotrac estimates that Reddick has $52.1 million in career earnings.

However, despite the massive fortune he’s set to forego, Reddick remains firm with his holdout. It’s an unfortunate development for the All-Pro outside linebacker with four consecutive seasons of at least 11 sacks.

Before joining the Jets, Reddick played two seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles, tallying 87 tackles, 27 sacks, and five forced fumbles. Meanwhile, he completed two of his four double-digit sack seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers.

Reddick would have been an asset for a defensive unit that is among the league’s best. Through Week 5, the Jets are fourth in sacks (18), second in total yards allowed (255.8) per game. They are also second in passing yards allowed (136.6), and tied for fourth in points allowed (17) per contest.
