Defensive end Myles Garrett won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award last year, tallying 42 tackles, 14 sacks, 30 quarterback hits, three passes defended, and four forced fumbles. However, despite that lofty recognition, he might be on the move after the Cleveland Browns’ dismal start this season.
Sports Illustrated reported that multiple teams have inquired about a trade for the five-time All-Pro edge rusher. However, this is more speculation for now, and there are no certain developments.
While trade talks for Garrett have yet to gain more traction, some football experts have suggested some teams interested in acquiring the five-time Pro Bowler. Some name the Green Bay Pack an interested party to bolster their pass rush.

Likewise, the Detroit Lions could be interested after Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending leg injury. Hutchinson’s absence drastically weakens their defensive front, and they have no other dominating pass rusher. The Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears could also express interest in Garrett.
Garrett will leave the team that selected him first overall in the 2017 NFL Draft if a trade pushes through. Since entering the league, he’s had six consecutive seasons with double-digit sacks and has never played fewer than ten games in a season.
Meanwhile, the team that would trade for him must absorb the lucrative contract he signed with the Browns in 2020. Sportac reveals that Garrett has three years left in that deal, including this season.
