The Detroit Lions enjoyed an 11-game winning streak after their Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their splendid backfield tandem of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery is a massive reason for that success. The Lions are in a great position to win if they both do well.
As the Lions’ official account on X/Twitter pointed out, they are 11-0 when Montgomery and Gibbs both had a touchdown in a game. No wonder their running back duo is having impressive stats as of Week 14.

Montgomery has 180 carries for 771 yards and 12 touchdowns, with 32 receptions for 310 yards. Meanwhile, Gibbs has 178 carries for 1,016 yards and ten touchdowns, with 34 receptions for 312 yards and two scores.
Their success helped the Lions clinch a playoff berth for the second consecutive season. However, they are still in contention for the NFC’s best record and the NFC North division title. Their campaign continues in a blockbuster Week 15 showdown against the Buffalo Bills.
