Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers surpassed that mark when he caught seven passes for 77 in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints. His 1,144 receiving yards are the most by a tight end in his rookie season. The former Georgia standout can add to his tally in their Week 18 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Speaking of the Chargers, Bowers’ former Bulldogs teammate, Ladd McConkey, has 1,054 yards and seven touchdowns. He crossed the thousand-yard barrier after collecting eight catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns against the New England Patriots. That victory secured the Chargers’ spot in the AFC playoffs.
Meanwhile, Brian Thomas Jr. has 1,179 yards and ten touchdowns with one game left. The wideout from LSU reached the mark by finishing with seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans. Thomas and the Jaguars will close their season with a visit to the Indianapolis Colts.
Finally, Thomas’ former Tigers teammate, Malik Nabers, has 1,140 yards and six touchdowns as of Week 17. The Giants’ top wideout had a monster game against the Colts, finishing with seven catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Nabers and the Giants will wrap up the 2024 NFL season with a road game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
