Jalen Hurts had an image of him walking out of State Farm Stadium after their Super Bowl LVII loss to the Kansas City Chiefs as his mobile phone’s background photo. It motivated him to improve on his craft, hoping to have another opportunity to play in the Super Bowl.
Two years later, Hurts got that opportunity and did not put it to waste. He played a solid game to deliver the Eagles’ second Super Bowl title while defeating the team that edged them in Arizona. Hurts had a magnificent performance during their loss, completing 27 passes for 304 yards and a touchdown, while adding 70 rushing yards and three scores.
This time, he had 17 completions for 221 yards and two touchdown throws to DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown. He also had one rushing touchdown after a huge completion to Jahan Dotson and finished with 72 rushing yards. These numbers earned him Super Bowl LIX MVP honors and a trip to Walt Disney World to celebrate the victory.
The most underrated, under appreciated quarterback in the entire NFL showed up, yet again, on the biggest stage possible…

Jalen Hurts is a super star. Winner. Super Bowl champion. Super Bowl MVP.

The victory made Hurts the fourth Black quarterback to win a Super Bowl, following Doug Williams, Russell Wilson, and Mahomes. More importantly, the Super Bowl victory is a nice result from the five-year, $255 million contract they gave him during the 2023 offseason.
