Multiple sources confirmed that the San Francisco 49ers have allowed wide receiver Deebo Samuel’s camp to seek a trade partner. If a deal comes through, the former South Carolina standout will play for a second NFL team in seven seasons.
Three years ago, Samuel was a Pro Bowler and a First-Team All-Pro after finishing with 77 catches for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns. He also added 365 rushing yards and eight touchdowns during that season.
49ers are making Deebo Samuel available via trade, but for real he’s pretty washed… that means he’ll end up on the Steelers, I’m pretty certain pic.twitter.com/oUbXarq5I4

However, his numbers took a hit after that year. In addition to missing eight regular season games, his highest totals over the last three seasons were 892 yards, seven receiving touchdowns, and five rushing scores.
A team looking for a second catching option might be interested in acquiring Samuel. However, he did mention in a recent interview that the Denver Broncos offense might be special in 2025. Could this statement indicate where he is going?
