NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport shared the compensatory picks that the league will award to certain teams based on their previous trades and hires made by other teams from their coaching staff.
Compensatory picks start in Round 3 of the annual draft and their number varies depending on the transactions worthy of a pick. The upcoming draft has six compensatory picks in the third round, four in round four, eight in round five, eight in round six, and nine in round seven.
For the 2025 draft, the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys have four compensatory picks each. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Chargers have three compensatory picks each. The Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and Kansas City Chiefs have two each, while the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams, Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders, and Green Bay Packers each have one compensatory pick. Here’s the full list of the compensatory picks (in order), courtesy of Rapoport.
