Zimmer plays games with fantasy owners, claims RB Cook is “day-to-day”

Despite initial reports to the contrary, Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer said that running back DALVIN COOK did not suffer a torn labrum on Sunday. Zimmer, of course, declined to elaborateMore on the injury and insisted that Cook is “day-to-day”. Cook is believed to have dislocated his shoulder and could reportedly miss the next two games against Detroit and Pittsburgh, despite what the typically coy Zimmer says. Vikings RB Cook plans to play Sunday vs. Lions

Minnesota Vikings running back DALVIN COOK did not practice on Wednesday but he insists he will play on Sunday when his team faces the Detroit Lions. Cook only played about halfMore of the Vikings’ offensive snaps last Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, sharing carries with backup ALEXANDER MATTISON. Cook admitted that he was “not 100 percent yet” but added that he was not getting worse or heading in the wrong direction. Vikings RB Cook returns to practice, status vs. Browns remains uncertain

Minnesota running back DALVIN COOK returned to practice on Sunday, although his status for the Vikings game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns remains uncertain. Cook said he was extremely confidentMore in his work with the trainers, but he was noncommittal when asked if he would return to action against Cleveland. Vikings dominate Seahawks in best offensive performance of Zimmer era

Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer said after Sunday’s win over the Seattle Seahawks, that the Vikings had the best offensive performance in his eight years with the team. Veteran quarterback KIRKMore COUSINS led the way with three touchdowns while ALEXANDER MATTISON filled in nicely for DALVIN COOK, who was out with a sprained right ankle.
