Ian Allan: Month-long streaks
Looking over the week-by-week stats, I see eight cases where a team or player has either improved or declined every week. Nothing too notable, but I’ll run them down. more »

Around the NFL: Christian Kirk
Much joshing (or complaining) about the contract the Jaguars handed Christian Kirk is occurring, especially since it kind of reset the wide receiver market, prompting a lot of monster contracts, trades and/or players perhaps wanting new deals. This doesn't mean, though, that Kirk isn't a good receiver. more »

Factoid: Jacksonville receivers
Jacksonville signed Christian Kirk and Zay Jones to nice free agent contracts, but I’m not confident those guys will post good numbers. When Doug Pederson was coaching in Philadelphia, after all, the wide receivers weren’t all that involved in the offense. more »

Jaguars sign WR Kirk
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed playmaking wide receiver CHRISTIAN KIRK, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals, to a four-year, $72 million contract. With Pro Bowl wideouts ahead of him on the depth chart… More in Arizona, Kirk has never had the chance to be a #1 receiver. That all changes with the Jaguars, as Kirk is expected to lead the WR corps for young quarterback TREVOR LAWRENCE in Jacksonville. Less

Around the NFL: Cardinals wideouts
Toward the end of the Cardinals-Rams game Monday night, the Rams had a couple opportunities to end the game with an interception, including one really groan-inducing drop. Cardinals fans wish they'd got that interception, since after that play, both DeAndre Hopkins and James Conner got shaken up. more »

Cardinals sign WR Crabtree
The Arizona Cardinals agreed to a one-year contract with veteran wide receiver MICHAEL CRABTREE on Wednesday. Crabtree, 31, had worked out for the Cardinals two weeks ago but the two sides did not come to an agreement. The move adds depth behind LARRY FITZGERALD and second year wideout CHRISTIAN KIRK.

Factoid: Cardinals wideouts
I've been involved in a couple of drafts the past few days, and one of the interesting elements has been the number of Cardinals receivers drafted. Aging veterans, second-year players, and several different rookies. Which one should be the No. 1? more »

Around the NFL: Cardinals wideouts
The Cardinals drafted three wide receivers last weekend, in the second, fourth and sixth rounds. Kliff Kingsbury is going to run an up-tempo offense that will flood the field with pass catchers, and he needs players to develop. But it's also a reminder that Larry Fitzgerald's Hall of Fame career is nearing the end. more »
