Around the NFL: Sunday Night Football Takeaways

Bailey Zappe is trying to keep his job and the Patriots as far away from a quality quarterback pick in next year’s draft with their win over the Broncos. The game started out slow, which didn’t come as a huge surprise given how good both defenses have been, but the game did become quite the barn burner over the second half.  more »

Andy Richardson: Thursday Night Recap

If you bet the near historic under of 30.5 in this game, you probably realized early on that you were in trouble, with the Patriots shockingly, surgically marching down the field for an opening drive touchdown. Factoid: Older running backs

Tomorrow is Ezekiel Elliott's 28th birthday, and he's still looking for a new employer. He's one of several veteran running backs of about that age without a job, another big name being Leonard Fournette (who recently worked out for New England). It's an increasingly suspect age for production from the position.   more »

Bengals RB Mixon takes pay cut for 2023

Veteran Cincinnati Bengals running back JOE MIXON agreed to a restructured contract that will pay him less heading into the 2023 season, but the new deal keeps him in town forMore another year. The Bengals also saved some salary cap dollars that should help them as they prepare to extend key players such as JOE BURROW and TEE HIGGINS.
