TE Kittle has impressive return

San Francisco tight end GEORGE KITTLE returned for Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers after missing the past two games with knee and ankle injuries. Kittle appears to have healed just fine, collecting 6 catches for 129 yards and a 61-yard touchdown against the Packers.

The San Francisco 49ers are dealing with several injuries heading into Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers. While there could be some game time decisions on tap, running backMore MATT BREIDA (ankle) and kicker ROBBIE GOULD (quad) did not practice this week and are doubtful for the game. 49ers hopeful for Kittle return

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday that the team is hopeful that tight end GEORGE KITTLE will be able to return for Sunday night’s game against the GreenMore Bay Packers. Kittle has missed the past two games with undisclosed knee and ankle issues. Shanahan did say that the decision could go “down to the wire”, but it sounds like Kittle may be trending in the right direction. Less

TE Kittle doubtful vs. Cardinals

San Franciso 49ers tight end GEORGE KITTLE is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Kittle said on Friday that he is feeling “fantastic” but he is still expected to miss his second consecutive game due to left knee and ankle injuries.

Garoppolo sees similarities between Kittle and Gronk

San Francisco quarterback JIMMY GAROPPOLO says that he sees similarities between retired tight end and former teammate ROB GRONKOWSKI and current teammate GEORGE KITTLE. Garoppolo says that beyond the physical similarities, both players bring an “energy” every day while also having fun and enjoying what they do.

Fantasy News: Receiving inside the 10

Touchdowns are more likely to be scored inside the 10-yard line, so it makes sense to pay attention to what offenses are trying to do in that part of the field. When a player is seeing lots of looks in that part of the field, it’s more likely that he’ll score in future games – particularly in weeks where his offense projects to be getting it around the goal line often.   more »
