Miami RB Wilson Jr. headed to injured reserve

The Miami Dolphins placed running back JEFF WILSON JR. on injured reserve on Thursday, meaning he will miss at least the first four games of the regular season. Wilson’s placement onMore IR came as a bit of a surprise, but Miami coach Mike McDaniel called it the result of multiple issues the running back was dealing with toward the end of the summer. With Wilson Jr. out for the next month, RAHEEM MOSTERT and undrafted rookie CHRIS BROOKS are Miami’s lone healthy running backs.
