Philadelphia running back JOSH ADAMS had shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum after last season and will not be ready for the early stages of the team’s offseason program. Eagles place Ajayi on injured reserve

The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Monday that they have placed running back JAY AJAYI on injured reserve. Ajayi reportedly tore his ACL in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. With Ajayi out, the Eagles will turn to some combination of DARREN SPROLES, COREY CLEMENT, WENDELL SMALLWOOD, and rookie JOSH ADAMS.
