I am intrigued by the Jets. With the way their team is coming together, I think there will be some good running back games there. There will be at least some weeks where there are running backs on that roster who dramatically outperform where they’re selected in fantasy drafts.  more »

Only four running backs were selected in the first three rounds of this year's draft. It wasn't a highly regarded class. From the fourth through seventh rounds, though, there were 15 college runners selected, with Michael Carter (pictured) taken first. Jets RB Coleman healthy and ready to roll in 2021

New York Jets running back TEVIN COLEMAN says he is fully healthy after an injury-ravaged 2020 campaign in San Francisco. Coleman added that he’s feeling good and that he has “gotMore a lot in my tank” and is ready to prove himself this season. Coleman will compete for a role in the Jets backfield along with fellow running backs LA’MICAL PERINE, TY JOHNSON, JOSH ADAMS, and rookie MICHAEL CARTER. Story this weekend that the Jets have been rotating three different backs with the starters at OTAs. Tevin Coleman, Ty Johnson (pictured) and rookie Michael Carter have all been taking their turn, and possibly LaMical Perine could still be a factor. It looks like a mess best avoided.   more »

Around the NFL: Thunder and Lightning?

The NFL combine isn't being held this year, so the only look that teams are getting at players is individual pro days. North Carolina's was yesterday, and there should be at least a couple of relevant fantasy players drafted from there. Most notably, Javonte Williams (pictured) and Michael Carter, two of college football's top rushers a year ago.   more »
