Football Team signs WR Samuel

The Washington Football Team signed speedy wide receiver CURTIS SAMUEL to a three-year deal on Wednesday. Samuel, 24, has elite speed that should pair nicely with top wideout TERRY MCLAURIN to help unlock offensive coordinator Scott Turner’s vertical attack. Samuel and McLaurin were also teammates in college at Ohio State.

Around the NFL: Fitzpatrick to McLaurin

Washington signed Ryan Fitzpatrick on Monday, and it's a move I really like. Fitzpatrick has his flaws -- that's why he never sticks anywhere for long -- but he's had some nice hot streaks along the way, and helped a lot of pass catchers. The next one should be Terry McLaurin.   more »

Around the NFL: Terry McLaurin

A story yesterday that Washington receiver Terry McLaurin played through two high ankle sprains last year, on his way to catching 87 passes for 1,118 yards and 4 touchdowns. It's the kind of item that just make the already impressive start to his career even more remarkable.   more »

McLaurin excited about Haskins’ potential in 2020

Washington wide receiver TERRY MCLAURIN said that second-year quarterback DWAYNE HASKINS “looks really good” as he prepares to lead the team into the 2020 season. Haskins has worked hard during the offseason, and McLaurin could benefit as his lead receiver coming off a successful rookie year.

Factoid: Rookie receivers

It was a good year for rookie receivers. Three of them went for 900-plus yards, and three others also have very bright futures. Overall, a much deep group than what’s typically seen.   more »

McLaurin remains in concussion protocol

Washington rookie wide receiver TERRY MCLAURIN is still in the concussion protocol and is likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. If McLaurin misses Sunday’s game, he also misses the chance to break the team’s rookie receiving record and get to 1,000 yards.
