Broncos WR corps takes a hit

The Denver Broncos wide receiver depth chart lost two players earlier this week after TIM PATRICK tore his Achilles and KJ HAMLER was waived with a non-football illness designation. Patrick’s injuryMore will sideline the veteran wideout for the entire 2023 season. Hamler, meanwhile, is battling a heart condition and was waived from the team. Hamler announced that he will undergo some treatment for a heart condition, but he remains hopeful that he may only miss a matter of weeks. The Broncos could opt to bring Hamler back when he gets healthy. Less

Around the NFL: Broncos receivers

The Broncos have some talent at the receiver position, both wideout and tight end. Jerry Jeudy is a former first-round pick, Courtland Sutton an early second, and they've got last year's third-rounder Greg Dulcich. I'm intrigued -- but concerned that crowding will be an issue.   more »

Broncos WR Patrick has high expectations despite return from injury

Denver Broncos wide receiver TIM PATRICK is working his way back from a season-ending knee injury suffered in last year’s training camp. While he has heard that it can take aMore couple of years before a player returns to pre-injury form, Patrick isn’t interested in that narrative. Patrick said earlier this week that this season is going to be his best year, adding that he “felt great”. While Patrick’s confidence is admirable, fantasy owners should note that he will return to a crowded wide receiver room this season in Denver. Less

Factoid: Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson is headed to the Broncos. This makes me a lot more interested in Denver’s wide receivers. They’ve got some talent, and Wilson is a lot better at delivering deep passes than anybody who’s played for that franchise in a long time.  more »

Factoid: Denver Broncos

Jerry Jeudy is down for a month with a high-ankle sprain, and I am reminded how good Tim Patrick was around the goal line last year. He’s a good player in that part of the field, and he’s now moving back into a starter-type role.  more »

Broncos WR Jeudy to miss 4-6 weeks

With Jeudy out of action for theMore next month or so, the Broncos are expected to rely on fellow wide receivers COURTLAND SUTTON, TIM PATRICK, and KJ HAMLER. Less

Factoid: Jerry Jeudy

What do we make of Jerry Jeudy? He had a suspect rookie season, but the Broncos liked him enough a year ago to select him in the middle of the first round – before CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson. Can he emerge as Denver’s leading receiver? And are we even certain he’ll be one of their top 2 guys?  more »

Factoid: Denver receivers

I wonder where Tim Patrick will fit in with the Broncos. They drafted wide receivers with their first two picks last year, but Patrick was more reliable than those guys last season.  more »

Fantasy News: Goal-line receiving

Inside the 10-yard line this year, 13 players have caught at least 5 scoring passes. I would argue that Tim Patrick is the most surprising member of that group. Only three players have scored more often in that part of the field, and they are all highly regarded players – Davante Adams, Adam Thielen and Mike Evans.  more »
