Factoid: Older wide receivers
We have been kicking around lifespans of running backs. That is, when should one start to move away from a featured back because he has too many carries or too many seasons on his odometer? With that in mind, now might be a good time to roll out some of the similar numbers with wide receivers. more »

Dolphins WR Hill has message for Tua critics
New Miami Dolphins wide receiver TYREEK HILL said late last week that critics will be “taking their words back on what they said” about young quarterback TUA TAGOVAILOA. Many have questioned… More Tagovailoa’s arm strength and whether or not he will be able to take advantage of Hill as an asset in the deep passing game. Hill, meanwhile, has continued to speak highly of his young signal caller at every opportunity. Less

Around the NFL: Tyreek Hill
When top players go elsewhere in free agency or get traded while under contract, it's safe to say it's frequently about money. Seldom does anyone admit that, though, usually saying it's because of their role or how they were used in the offense. The latest example involves Tyreek Hill. more »

Tagovailoa pushes back against arm strength perception
Miami Dolphins quarterback TUA TAGOVAILOA pushed back last week against critics that have questioned his arm strength. And during a minicamp session, Tagovailoa completed a pair of deep passes to wide… More receiver TYREEK HILL (for 45 and 55 yards) as further evidence that there are no issues with his arm strength. Tua did lead the NFL last season in completion percentage on passes of at least 25 yards downfield (completing 50%) – but he attempted only 18 such passes, the second fewest in the league. Tagovailoa has also claimed that his lack of downfield passing was more a result of play calling than natural ability. Less

KC wide receiver Watson a “pleasant surprise”
Kansas City star quarterback PATRICK MAHOMES said recently that new wideout JUSTIN WATSON has been “a pleasant surprise”. Kansas City signed Watson to a one-year deal in February after he was… More used sparingly in Tampa Bay. In five seasons with the Bucs, Watson made just 23 catches for 258 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mahomes also noted that Watson was running so fast that he was late on his throws. With former wideout TYREEK HILL now in Miami, Watson could be one to watch in the weeks ahead. Less

Around the NFL: Miami Ground Machine
The Dolphins traded for Tyreek Hill and will pair him with one of last season's breakout rookie receivers, Jaylen Waddle, to pass the ball all over the yard. Or will they? Their new head coach comes over from a San Francisco offense that generally emphasized the run, and they've been signing more running backs than they can possibly roster. more »

Around the NFL: Brown outs
It’s been a pretty crappy offseason. Let’s be honest. It’s interesting to see guys moving around, getting plugged into new offenses. But most of these transplanted receivers aren’t going to be as successful with their new teams. more »

Miami Dolphins third-year quarterback TUA TAGOVAILOA said late last week that “exciting times” are in store for the team heading into the upcoming season. Expectations are high for the Dolphins and… More Tagovailoa after hiring a new head coach, the addition of several free agents, and a blockbuster trade that brings star wide receiver TYREEK HILL to town. The day after Kansas City traded star wide receiver TYREEK HILL to the Miami Dolphins, the team is reportedly signing former Green Bay wideout MARQUEZ VALDES-SCANTLING to a three-year contract to… More join the team’s wide receiver corps. Dolphins acquire former Kansas City WR Hill
The Miami Dolphins announced this week that they have acquired wide receiver TYREEK HILL from Kansas City for multiple draft picks. Hill is a three-time first-team All-Pro and has been selected… More to the Pro Bowl in each of his six NFL seasons. In addition to being pretty good in real football, Hill has also helped lead fantasy owners to championships along the way in our little game. Time will tell if he continues to do so without the benefit of PATRICK MAHOMES throwing him the ball. Less
