Sproles out Sunday vs. Ravens

Philadelphia running back DARREN SPROLES was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Sproles suffered a concussion in last Sunday’s game and he remains in the NFL concussion protocol. RYAN MATHEWS will likely resume the bulk of the carries with Sproles out and WENDELL SMALLWOOD on injured reserve.

Smallwood, Sproles injured in loss

The Philadelphia Eagles backfield took a hit on Sunday when running backs WENDELL SMALLWOOD and DARREN SPROLES left the game with injuries. Smallwood suffered a Grade 2 MCL (knee) sprain while Sproles suffered a concussion. Smallwood is likely done for the season while Sproles is in the concussion protocol.
