Scheduletron: Falcons rising?
Post draft, we can start identifying some of the teams and offenses that we feel will outperform expectations. The Falcons, I think, look like one of them. They’ve been loading up on talent, and they’re in the right division in the right conference. more »

Factoid: 50-yard field goals
A trio of kickers banged in a bunch of long field goals last year. But is that an indication those kickers are more likely to also excel in that area in the upcoming season? Or is it more likely that such production is heavily influenced by luck/chance? more »

Factoid: Up-and-coming kickers
The four highest-scoring kickers were all lightly regarded prospects entering the season. I don’t think Daniel Carlson, Jason Sanders, Younghoe Koo or Tyler Bass were selected among the first 10 kickers in the vast majority of drafts. (If we set aside Koo, who had a good half-season in 2019, I don’t think any of the others were chosen in the top 15). more »

Fantasy News: Second-half kickers
A pair of kickers put up huge numbers in the second half of the season – Tyler Bass and Greg Zuerlein both averaged over 10 points in their final eight games. Should we take that as a sign that these kickers are likely to rank in the top 10 in 2021? Or is this more likely a case of outlier production in a small sample size? more »
