Factoid: Zach Charbonnet
With the Seahawks having chosen Zach Charbonnet in the second round, it’s clear they place a higher value than other teams on the running back position. Just last year, recall, they selected Kenneth Walker in the second round, and they used a first-round pick on Rashaad Penny in 2018. more »

Factoid: Slower running backs
A couple of the running backs drafted in the first three rounds this year turned in less than ideal 40 times at the NFL combine. Zach Charbonnet (4.53) and Tank Bigsby (pictured; 4.56) are on the slow side, certainly compared to first-rounders Jahmyr Gibbs (4.36) and Bijan Robinson (4.46). Does it matter? more »

Seahawks see RB Charbonnet as “complement” to RB Walker
The Seattle Seahawks raised some eyebrows with the second-round selection of running back ZACH CHARBONNET in last weekend’s NFL Draft. Seattle GM John Schneider said afterward that the team added players… More who can take on big roles immediately, while head coach Pete Carroll said that Charbonnet will be “a great complement” to last year’s second round pick, fellow running back KENNETH WALKER III. Factoid: Rookie running backs
It's considered a deep draft class for running backs, but reasonable people can differ over exactly what that means. Are there a lot of really talented backs, or just an unusually large number of decent backs who could become serviceable NFL starters? From a fantasy perspective, either would be nice. more »
