Lions sign Zach Ertz to practice squad

The Detroit Lions are bringing in three-time Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz to their practice squad. The deal was made after their Divisional Round victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wherein tight end Brock Wright suffered a forearm injury.

Arizona TE Ertz to be activated from PUP list

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said on Monday that veteran tight end ZACH ERTZ will be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list sometime this week. The moveMore will allow Ertz to return to practices just about nine months after suffering a torn ACL in a game against the Los Angeles Rams in mid-November. Arizona Cardinals tight end ZACH ERTZ said recently that he is excited about where he is with the rehab on his injured knee. Ertz, who tore the medial collateral ligament andMore partially tore the anterior cruciate ligament, hit the three-month mark in his rehab on Saturday. Ertz said that his goal is to be ready for the start of the regular season, although he added that he would not risk returning at 80 percent. Cardinals TE Ertz had surgery to repair torn ACL, MCL

Arizona Cardinals tight end ZACH ERTZ was originally believed to have avoided a significant injury, but he revealed on Thursday that he had surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL.More He said that doctors discovered the ACL was partially torn during that operation and that the best course of action was to repair it along with the other injury. Ertz said that he hopes to be ready for the start of the 2023 season, but there’s a lot of rehab work for him to do before anyone will know if that’s realistic.
