Pats-Broncos postponed, Bills-Titans in doubt

Positive COVID tests for N.E., Tenn.

We wake up each morning to see results of COVID-19 tests around the NFL. There have been positives for both the Patriots and Titans. According to Adam Schefter, the league is going to postpone Denver-New England. With the Titans, who knows.

The Tennessee positive(s) reportedly includes a coach. I wonder if he was at the illegal workouts the team held. The Titans have shut down their facilities and are awaiting further word on the status of their game with the Bills, which was supposed to be played on Tuesday.

The Patriots also had a positive test this morning. The Denver-New England game, which had already been moved to Monday, will now be moved to an undetermined future date. (Early report said Week 6, when New England was supposed to be on a bye, and Denver was supposed to host Miami. But that's not certain.) Now those teams will be on a bye this week.

There are a handful of really good options in these games -- difference-maker types. Derrick Henry, Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, perhaps Melvin Gordon. There are a few good-to-very good options, including A.J. Brown, James White, Damien Harris, and maybe a Bills running back or a Patriots wide receiver.

But sitting here right now, less than 4 hours before all the early games kick off, we can say that New England-Denver won't happen in Week 5, and Bills-Titans might not either. If you leave Allen or Henry in your lineup, you may find yourself taking a zero at that position. They're a lot harder to bench than guys like Harris or Jerry Jeudy, but I'd rather get 15-17 points from Gardner Minshew than hold out for the possibility of 25 from Allen -- but potentially get zip.

Will update this in the comments if we get more news in the next few hours, but fantasy coaches need to get Patriots and Broncos out of their lineups, and probably do the same with Bills and Titans.
