Cam Newton scored 14 touchdowns in 2011, the most ever by a quarterback. But there’s a good chance the bar will be raised. With the final month of the season approaching, two quarterbacks are on pace to break that record.

Kyler Murray has scored 10 touchdowns in 10 games for the Cardinals, consistently calling his own number in the red zone. With him, injuries are probably the biggest worry. They were working on his shoulder throughout the game on Thursday, which might help them to ask themselves why they have the league’s smallest starting quarterback running so much.

And then there’s Newton himself. He missed a game while on the COVID-reserve list, but he’s scored 9 TDs in his nine games. So right now, he’s on pace to finish the season with 15 rushing touchdowns.

These two quarterbacks will play against each other in Week 12, with Arizona at New England.
