That quarterback Joe Burrow is already going through throwing motions during offseason workouts must entice Cincinnati Bengals fans to celebrate. While their Monday voluntary training was off-limits to the media, the Bengals’ Twitter account posted a video of Burrow confidently throwing the ball.

Joe Burrow's 2023 campaign was cut short when he sustained a season-ending wrist injury in their Week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite this setback, he showed his resilience by undergoing surgery and finishing the season with 244 completions for 2,309 yards and 15 touchdowns, a testament to his determination and skill.

Before the wrist injury, the former LSU standout dealt with a strained right calf during the 2023 offseason. He was rolling to his right in one of their scrimmages before the injury happened, prompting the team to take him off the practice field on a cart.

While he recovered in time for their season opener, he re-aggravated the injury in Week 2. He played in ten games last year, the same number he finished during his rookie season before suffering a knee injury.

Joe Burrow's exceptional performance in 2021 earned him the title of Comeback Player of the Year, boasting a league-best 70.4 completion percentage, 4,611 passing yards, and 34 touchdowns. His success continued in 2022, securing his first Pro Bowl selection with 414 completions for 4,475 yards and 35 touchdowns, a clear indication of his potential and a source of excitement for the upcoming season.

During the second phase of the offseason workouts, Burrow and the Bengals can run plays as walk-throughs without contact.
