Derrick Henry Paces Ravens With A Monster Performance Versus Bills

While the Baltimore Ravens had a home-field advantage, the Buffalo Bills were a formidable opponent coming into their Week 4 matchup because they carried a 3-0 record. However, former NFL Offensive Player of the Year Derrick Henry ensured the visiting team wouldn’t spoil the party.

When the game ended, the Bills did not have an answer for the All-Pro running back, who finished with 24 carries for 199 yards and a rushing touchdown. However, Henry wasn’t done because he added three catches for ten yards and a touchdown.

Henry scored his rushing touchdown during the Ravens’ first offensive possession. After the Bills opted to punt, Henry found a crease for an 87-yard touchdown run, the longest in Ravens history. In addition to scoring that TD, Henry helped move the chains, leading to 11 rushing first downs and 271 rushing yards. Henry was a massive factor for the Ravens, gaining eight yards per rushing attempt.

As Henry’s fantasy football owners got a massive points boost from his production, the menacing running back’s valiant effort helped the Ravens earn their second victory in four games. After losing their first two games, the Ravens are back in business by being just one game behind the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers. Likewise, they handed the Bills their first loss in the 2024 season.

Henry and the Ravens can extend their winning streak to three games by defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in a Week 5 road showdown.
