Multiple news outlets have confirmed that the Las Vegas Raiders are putting up All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams for trade. What started as a rumor when Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce liked a post hinting that Adams would be on the trading block has become a reality.
However, it’s not that 31 teams will have an equal shot at landing the two-time NFL receiving touchdowns leader. Instead, sources revealed that Adams is interested in playing for the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints.
It’s an easy choice for Adams because he has played with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. During his tenure with Rodgers for the Green Bay Packers, Adams earned three first-time All-Pro selections and six Pro Bowl nods. Meanwhile, Rodgers wouldn’t have won some of his Most Valuable Player awards without Adams’ consistency.
Two teams high on Davante Adams’ wishlist of places to land - if not at the very top - are the Jets and Saints, per league sources.

Conversely, Davante Adams would like to play for the New Orleans Saints because of Derek Carr. In addition to being teammates with the Raiders, Adams and Carr go way back as teammates at Fresno State.
Likewise, it doesn’t mean that Adams’ camp will only listen to the Jets and Saints' offers. Reports have surfaced that the Pittsburgh Steelers are also interested in bringing a player who can blend well with their offense. Meanwhile, a report from CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin believes that the Dallas Cowboys will also try to make a pitch for Adams.
