All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce flew under the radar during the regular season, finishing with 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns. However, he reminded the football world why he’s an all-time great during their Divisional Round matchup against the Houston Texans.
Kelce finished that playoff game with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown. His fourth-quarter touchdown catch stretched the Kansas City Chiefs’ lead from one to seven. Harrison Butker’s extra point made it a 20-12 count early in the final quarter.
It’s Kelce’s ninth postseason game with at least 100 yards, surpassing Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice. He also has 14 consecutive playoff games with at least 70 receiving yards, seven more than second-place Antonio Brown.

More importantly, Kelce’s big game helped the Chiefs defeat the Texans. Their quest for a third consecutive Super Bowl title leads them to host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game. It’s Kelce’s seventh consecutive AFC title game, leading to three Super Bowl titles in four appearances.
