Pro Bowl tight ends for sale

Andrews, Goedert could be headed to new teams

There’s going to be some notable players added to rosters at the end of the week. But there’s also going to be some big names subtracted – particularly at tight end.

Mark Andrews and Dallas Goedert, various reports suggest, are both available. They’ve been two of the most productive tight ends in recent years, but they’re older guys with larger salaries. Both the Ravens and Iggles, it seems are willing to flip them for a pick.

In the case of Baltimore, it has a ready-made replacement. Isaiah Likely might be better than Andrews now anyway. And they’ve also got Charlie Kolar, who’s probably ready to play more.

With Philly, Grant Calcaterra did a suitable job filling in for Goedert last year. The Eagles have also signed Kylen Granson, but whether he can develop into anything, we’ll see. That team doesn’t pass the ball much anyway.

Using PPR scoring, both Andrews and Goedert have been two of the top half dozen tight ends in the league over the last four years. That’s per-game production and considering only those who’ve played at least half the time over the past four years.
