Eagles dealing with injuries to TE Goedert, WR Jackson

Philadelphia tight end DALLAS GOEDERT suffered a lower body injury in Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Around the NFL: Dallas Goedert

Dallas Goedert has been missing practice time of late. It was maddeningly described only as an "upper body injury" -- that's what the Eagles are doing these days, for some reason -- but finally reported yesterday as a hairline thumb fracture. It's not considered serious, and Goedert should return soon.   more »



Man charged with assault for allegedly punching Eagles TE Goedert

Dallas tight end DALLAS GOEDERT was sucker punched in an incident in a South Dakota bar over the weekend, with the alleged suspect being arrested and charged with assault. Goedert was reportedly taken to a local hospital but was fine. Strange times indeed.

Ertz ruled out vs. Giants, Howard to play

Philadelphia Eagles tight end ZACH ERTZ has been officially ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. Philadelphia backup quarterback NATE SUDFELD is expected to be out for the next six weeks after suffering a broken wrist in Thursday night’s preseason game.
