I haven't had much interest in Davante Adams with the Rams. He's 32, and I was thinking since his quarterback won't be Aaron Rodgers, he won't be having the ball forced into him around the goal line. But I may not be giving him enough credit.
Adams played with the Raiders for two-plus seasons, with lesser quarterbacking than he had with Rodgers and than he'll have with Matthew Stafford, too. But he still produced at a high level.
Looking at the numbers, Adams in 37 games with the Raiders averaged 6 catches for nearly 78 yards, with 23 touchdowns -- 0.62 per week. Surprisingly (to me) those numbers were better (receptions, yards and touchdowns) than his averages with the Packers, and nearly identical to his averages with Rodgers with the Jets last year: 6.1 catches, 77.6 yards and 7 TDs in 11 contests (0.64).
And compared to other wide receivers who've started at least half the time the last three years, Adams' Raiders numbers are top-10 in both receptions and yards, and only two wideouts averaged more touchdowns. (Data compiled using search tools at pro-football-reference.com.)

I don't expect to be drafting Adams anywhere, but I'll give him his due. He's not just a product of Aaron Rodgers locking in on him. He might be better than I expect with Stafford and the Rams.
