Around the NFL: Bryan Edwards

The Falcons are lean enough at wide receiver than Bryan Edwards has a decent chance of being a starter for them. He makes some sense with a speculative late-round pick in larger leagues.  more »

Falcons sign WR Allison to one-year deal

The Atlanta Falcons added yet another veteran wide receiver to help strengthen their pass-catching corps, signing wideout GERONIMO ALLISON to a one-year deal. Allison joins former Raiders wideout BRYAN EDWARDS, who was acquired in a trade late last week, and rookie first-round wide receiver DRAKE LONDON.

Around the NFL: Bryan Edwards

Jarvis Landry signing with the Saints was bigger news from a fantasy perspective, but I'm intrigued by the Raiders trading Bryan Edwards to another NFC South team, Atlanta. There was a time when Edwards looked like a nice sleeper with Las Vegas, and maybe that can happen in Atlanta.   more »

Around the NFL: Raiders sign Jackson

The Raiders have agreed to a contract with DeSean Jackson, and I like the fit. They’re in need of another receiver who can get down the field, and Jackson can help them there.  more »

Around the NFL: Las Vegas Raiders

Will the Raiders get anything out of Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards? They drafted those guys with early picks last year, but they weren’t big contributors – in part because of injuries.  more »

The Las Vegas Raiders placed wide receiver TYRELL WILLIAMS on injured reserve after he suffered a torn labrum earlier in training camp. So Tyrell Williams has a torn labrum. He says he'll try to play through it, which is maybe good news for the Raiders (at least they'll get something out of him?) but probably makes him hands off in fantasy leagues. Williams tried to play through injury a year ago, and results weren't good.   more »

Raiders WR Williams suffers torn labrum

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver TYRELL WILLIAMS is dealing with a torn labrum injury. Williams is planning to play through the injury, although he will spend the next few weeks focusingMore on rehab. The Raiders drafted HENRY RUGGS in the first-round and BRYAN EDWARDS in the third-round of April’s NFL Draft, with both rookies expected to contribute this season. Less

Around the NFL: Bryan Edwards

I keep seeing Bryan Edwards being talking up in training camp stories. He wasn’t even the first receiver the Raiders selected, but from the sounds of it, he could play a sizable role in their offense.  more »

Raiders QB Carr has high praise for rookie wideout

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback DEREK CARR said earlier this week that third-round rookie wide receiver BRYAN EDWARDS reminds him of Green Bay Packers star DAVANTE ADAMS. Carr and Adams played togetherMore for two years in college at Fresno State, so he is certainly familiar with Adams’ playing style. While all eyes are on rookie first-round wide receiver HENRY RUGGS III, it sounds like Edwards could also be one to watch. Less
