Green Bay signs QB Love to one-year extension
The Green Bay Packers signed quarterback JORDAN LOVE to a one-year contract extension earlier this week, essentially giving Love a two-year window to show his potential as the team’s starting quarterback.… More Green Bay officially moved on from veteran quarterback AARON RODGERS last week. The Packers then proceeded to use the NFL Draft to surround Love with some new targets. Green bay added wide receiver JAYDEN REED and tight end LUKE MUSGRAVE in the second round and then added another tight end, TUCKER KRAFT, in the third round. The trio will join second-year receivers CHRISTIAN WATSON and ROMEO DOUBS to form the core of a young Packers passing game. Less

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver CHRISTIAN WATSON had no catches on three targets shortly before halftime of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. But fear not, fantasy owners…Watson would go… More on to catch a touchdown pass before halftime and then rush for a 46-yard touchdown on a jet sweep to seal the game for the Packers late in the fourth quarter. I think we should all be drafting rookie receivers a little earlier. There’s risk involved, and I see plenty of slow starters, but I also see a bunch of them outperforming where there were chosen. more »
