Edelman returns to practice

Edelman out with thumb injury

New England wide receiver JULIAN EDELMAN is expected to miss three weeks of action due to a left thumb injury. The Patriots have reportedly brought in four free agents for workouts. Edelman will likely miss the opening preseason game, but he could return any time after that.

Patriots sign Edelman to contract extension

The New England Patriots signed veteran wide receiver and Super Bowl LIII MVP, JULIAN EDELMAN, to a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the team through 2021. Edelman turned 33 yesterday (Happy Birthday Julian) and remains one of TOM BRADY’s most trusted targets.
