Jaguars open to trading RB Fournette

Fournette wants Jaguars to sign QB Newton

Jacksonville running back LEONARD FOURNETTE said on social media that he wanted the Jaguars to sign free agent quarterback CAM NEWTON for the 2020 season. Fournette said that he meant noMore disrespect to second-year quarterback GARDNER MINSHEW, but he felt that adding Newton would put the team in the best position to win. Newton was the top overall selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, but he has battled significant shoulder and foot injuries over the past three seasons. Less

Marrone admits to “mistake” in not utilizing Fournette

Jacksonville head coach Doug Marrone said that he made a “big mistake” in not utilizing running back LEONARD FOURNETTE in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Fournette rushed for just 23More yards on a season-low eight carries against Indianapolis, setting a franchise record for fewest rushing attempts in a game.
