Saints land Bears wideout Meredith

The New Orleans Saints acquired former Chicago wide receiver CAMERON MEREDITH after the Bears declined to match his offer sheet. Meredith will likely work as the No. 3 receiver in New Orleans, alongside MICHAEL THOMAS and TED GINN JR. He should fit nicely as a slot pass catcher.

Saints WR Thomas misses practice

New Orleans wide receiver MICHAEL THOMAS was not present at the team’s practice on Wednesday. While no information was given regarding his absence, Thomas did enter last Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury. We will keep an eye on Thomas over the next couple of days.

We have kicked around Mike Evans some the past few days. I have let the cat out of the bag that I’m not super high on him for this year. As much as I would like to elevate him above Odell Beckham Jr. and Julio Jones (receivers I also am leery of), I just don’t see it.  more »

New Orleans rookie wide receiver MICHAEL THOMAS lost 2 fumbles in Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos. Thomas was also involved in another turnover when a pass bounced off his handsMore and was intercepted, although that miscue didn’t cost his fantasy owners any points.
