A report yesterday indicated he could stay there into the regular season, which would keep him out for the first six games, making him essentially undraftable. Eagles sign WR Wheaton

The Philadelphia Eagles signed veteran wide receiver MARKUS WHEATON to a one-year deal on Wednesday. Wheaton, 27, played last season with the Chicago Bears.
