Rams WR Nacua sets rookie record

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver PUKA NACUA has 25 catches for 266 yards after two games, the most catches by any wide receiver after his first two career games in NFLMore history. Nacua finished with 15 catches for 147 yards for the Rams on Sunday, one week after he finished with 10 catches for 147 yards in his NFL debut. Nacua is also the first player in league history to have 20 catches through is first two career games. Less

Rams WR Kupp to miss season opener, headed to IR?

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Wednesday that star wide receiver COOPER KUPP will not play in Sunday’s season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. Kupp has been nursingMore a hamstring injury that has had his status in limbo. His status remains unclear, and it is possible that the Rams could place him on injured reserve. Such a move would mean that Kupp would miss at least the first four games of the season. Around the NFL: Hakuna Nacua

The Rams like what they’ve seen from Puka Nacua. With Cooper Kupp out with a hamstring injury, Nacua has been getting lots of reps and seems to have a good rapport with Matthew Stafford. But Nacua is a fifth-round pick, and it’s rare for those guys to make a big impact, especially early.   more »
