Detroit Lions tight end T.J. HOCKENSON said recently that he is preparing himself to be the best he can be, adding that he knows his “ceiling is high”. The Lions wide… More receiving corps is among the shallowest units in the NFL, meaning that Hockenson should have a world of opportunity heading into the upcoming season. Around the NFL: Darren Fells
The Lions signed Darren Fells yesterday. It's his second stint with the team; he's actually played for four different teams in the last five years. I don't think anyone hoping to select T.J. Hockenson should be terribly concerned about Fells' presence, but it is something to factor into his projection. more »

Lions WR Jones has lofty goals for 2020
Detroit Lions starting wide receiver MARVIN JONES says that he wants to lead the league in touchdowns in 2020, adding that he wants to catch over 15 touchdowns. While Jones’ goal… More is admirable, Antonio Brown and Dez Bryant are the only two wide receivers that have caught at least 15 touchdown passes in a season since 2012. Considering that KENNY GOLLADAY, DANNY AMENDOLA, and second-year tight end T.J. HOCKENSON are also on the roster – Jones could have a tough time reaching his goal. Less
