NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Cincinnati Bengals plan to use the franchise tag on wide receiver Tee Higgins for the 2024 season. If he signs the offer, he will receive a one-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $21.8 million.

Bengals QB Burrow tweaks calf vs. Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback JOE BURROW confirmed on Sunday that he tweaked his calf at the end of the team’s Week #2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The severity of the tweakMore is unknows, even to Burrow himself. When asked about the injury after the game, Burrow said “we’re going to have to wait and see”, adding that he was “not sure how it’s going to feel in the next couple of days”. The tweak took place with just under four minutes left in the game on an incomplete pass to JA’MARR CHASE just before Burrow connected with TEE HIGGINS on a 4-yard touchdown. Less

After conflicting reports earlier in the week about Cincinnati wide receiver TEE HIGGINS dealing with a hip injury or merely an illness, or possibly both, the Bengals wideout eased concerns whenMore he returned to a full practice session on Thursday. Cincinnati wide receiver TEE HIGGINS missed Wednesday’s practice as the team prepares for Sunday’s Wildcard Round playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
