Factoid: Greg Olsen
I didn’t understand the signing of Greg Olsen. He’s an older guy who might be breaking down, and I thought Seattle was set at tight end with Will Dissly and Jacob Hollister. But the Seahawks signed him to a nice contract, so I guess they think he’ll be an upgrade at that position. more »

Factoid: Seattle tight ends
The Seahawks signed 35-year-old Greg Olsen to a one-year, $7 million deal back in February. It was a surprising move. Olsen's had a great career and is far more accomplished when what Seattle had on its roster, but it's a curious allocation of resources. more »

Around the NFL: Seahawks tight ends
A report came out yesterday that Seattle might not have veteran tight end Ed Dickson (knee) at the start of the season. This is noteworthy only because they might have needed him. Will Dissly (pictured) is coming back from a serious knee injury of his own. Will Seattle have a draftable starter at the position? more »

Seahawks headed for TEBC
The Seattle Seahawks are likely to feature a “tight end by committee” this year, with no single tight end dominating playing time as the season begins. Tight end WILL DISSLY played… More well early last season, but he is recovering from a season-ending knee injury. In addition to Dissly, NICK VANNETT, JACOB HOLLISTER, and ED DICKSON have already made some big catches in camp. GEORGE FANT remains in the mix as well, in what is a crowded tight end room in Seattle. Less
