After just two games on the practice squad and a TD catch in Sunday's game against the Commanders, the Eagles have signed 7x pro bowler, WR Julio Jones to the 53-man roster.

Jones, with 13,640 receiving yards in his NFL career, is the league’s active leader, so it's no wonder the Eagles are excited about this roster move.

As the second oldest active WR in the game right now, Jones, who is 34, is looking to prove himself again after moving around a bit following his 10-year stint with the Atlanta Falcons.

After paltry numbers with the Titans in 2021 (434 yards, 1 TD) and even more dismal play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022 (299 years, 2 TDs), Jones was signed to join the Eagles practice squad October 17th when they had to place WR Quez Watkins on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.

Of Sunday's TD play, Jones said, “It’s amazing. We just believe in one another. They believe in me to go out there and execute and take advantage of the opportunity that’s given. But it was more so for the team, me going out there and playing my role and doing it to the best of my ability.”

What impact Jones will have for the Eagles as the NFL enters the second half of the season, remains to be seen.
