Any faints hope of Saquon Barkley playing on Monday night can be set aside. He was a limited participant in practice all week, but the Giants are calling him doubtful to play against Seattle. New York also will be without left tackle Andrew Thomas.   more »

Browns TE Njoku dealing with high ankle sprain

Cleveland Browns tight end DAVID NJOKU is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a high-ankle sprain in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Njoku was off to a career-best start,More so his loss is significant to both the Browns and his fantasy owners. It remains to be seen if the Browns will place Njoku on injured reserve, a move that would keep him out of action for at least four games. Less

Browns place TE Njoku on injured reserve, promote K Parkey to active roster

The Cleveland Browns placed tight end DAVID NJOKU on injured reserve due to a knee injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Under new injured reserve rules this season,More Njoku will be eligible to return after three games. Meanwhile, the Browns gave kicker AUSTIN SEIBERT the boot on Monday and promoted veteran kicker CODY PARKEY from the practice squad to the active roster. Browns TE Njoku no longer seeking trade

Cleveland tight end DAVID NJOKU said over the weekend that he is no longer requesting a trade, adding that he is “all in” with the Browns.
