Andy Richardson: Thursday Night Recap

Football is back, like it never left, and Josh Allen made everyone who drafted him atop the position in their leagues pretty happy. It's never wise to make final judgments on teams and players based on one game, but what the heck -- you don't want to be slow to react, either.  more »

Fantasy News: Drafts vs. Auctions

I like auctions more than drafts. You have more control over your roster, and I like giving everyone a fair shot at the elite players. Especially with guys like Jonathan Taylor and Cooper Kupp, I would rather have them assigned to the teams willing to pay the most, rather than those who happening to hold the early draft slots.  more »

Around the NFL: Gabriel Davis

At what point does a sleeper stop being a sleeper? The hype for Gabriel Davis has reached the point where he's being drafted a lot closer to his ceiling than his floor. It's a little worrying if you're hoping to get him on your team, but it's also understandable.   more »

Sky the limit for Bills WR Davis

Buffalo Bills star wide receiver STEFON DIGGS said last week that he would not put a ceiling on fellow wideout GABRIEL DAVIS, adding that his teammate can “flat out make playsMore at a high level”. Davis was on track for a third-year leap even before he exploded in the Bills playoff loss to Kansas City, where fantasy owners may recall he topped 200 receiving yards while scoring 4 touchdowns. Former Buffalo wide receiver EMMANUEL SANDERS, now a free agent, added that Davis is “a Pro Bowl-caliber player”. Take note, fantasy owners. Less

Bills cut veteran WR Beasley after failed trade attempt

The COLE BEASLEY era has come to an end in Buffalo. After failing to find a trade partner for the veteran wide receiver, the Bills released him on Thursday after threeMore seasons together. Beasley, who turns 33 next month, had his worst statistical season with the Bills despite matching the 82 catches he had in his career year back in 2020. The Bills appear set to move forward with younger receiving options, including STEFON DIGGS (28), GABRIEL DAVIS (22), and ISAIAH MCKENZIE (26). Less

Bills WR Davis catches playoff record 4 touchdowns

Buffalo wide receiver GABRIEL DAVIS had a game for the ages in Sunday’s playoff loss to Kansas City. Davis scored six touchdowns all season but caught an NFL record 4 touchdownsMore in Sunday’s game, while also adding 201 receiving yards on 8 catches. While Davis was often the last option among Buffalo wideouts during the regular season, it will be interesting to see if his playoff success changes things heading into the 2022 season. Less

Bills WR Sanders week-to-week with injury

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday that veteran wide receiver EMMANUEL SANDERS is “week-to-week” due to a knee injury suffered in Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay. According toMore McDermott, Sanders will “most likely” not play this weekend against the Carolina Panthers. While Sanders has been a non-factor for weeks for fantasy owners, GABRIEL DAVIS filled in nicely against the Bucs and could be fantasy-relevant in the weeks ahead. Less
