Cardinals RB Conner misses second consecutive practice

Arizona Cardinals running back JAMES CONNER was seen participating in warmups on Thursday but he ultimately ended up missing the actual practice session. Thursday’s practice was the second in as manyMore days in which Conner did not participate. He continues to deal with the heel injury that kept him out of last weekend’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Cardinals WR Hopkins, RB Conner set to undergo MRIs

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DEANDRE HOPKINS (leg) and running back JAMES CONNER (ankle) were injured late in Monday night’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams and both are set to undergoMore an MRI today. James Conner has outscored Chase Edmonds 5-0 so far, and I think that trend is going to continue. Conner is a bigger, more physical runner, making him a better option around the goal line.  more »

I've seen some talk about Chase Edmonds and James Conner lately. Some believe that Conner will be a major thorn in Edmonds' value, pointing out that Arizona favored Kenyan Drake near the goal line last year, which could happen again with the former Steeler. His signing has definitely depressed Edmonds' value in early drafts.  more »

Arizona running back JAMES CONNER said recently that he and fellow rusher CHASE EDMONDS will form a tandem that “can be one of the best in the league” in 2021. ConnerMore struggled last season while leading a Pittsburgh rushing attack that finished last in rushing.
