Neither move was unexpected, but it firms up last year's third-rounder Adam Trautman as the team's top tight end at this early stage of the offseason. Sky the limit for Saints TE Cook

New Orleans tight end coach Dan Campbell said recently that the “sky’s the limit” for Saints tight end JARED COOK. The veteran Cook struggled in the first half of last seasonMore but was one of the top players in the league during the second half of 2019. In the final eight games of the regular season, Cook caught 28 passes for 537 yards. His 7 touchdown catches in the season’s second half led all NFL tight ends. Less

Jared Cook sure did a nice job of getting downfield for chunk plays last year. He caught 9 TDs, and over half of them came from outside the red zone. He ended up averaging 16.4 yards per catch, which is a figure that even Rob Gronkowski never reached in his career.  more »

Brees, Kamara remain questionable, Cook out vs. Cardinals

New Orleans Saints quarterback DREW BREES and running back ALVIN KAMARA are officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Both players were limited participants in practice onMore Friday. Kamara, Cook out vs. Bears
