Broncos want to re-sign RB Gordon

Fantasy owners looking forward to the JAVONTE WILLIAMS era to begin in Denver may need to park the patience train in the station a bit longer. Fellow running back MELVIN GORDONMore said this week that he wants to return to Denver, and Broncos GM George Paton also said this week that the team would like to re-sign him. Gordon and Williams split carries last season, and Paton added that the two running backs “complemented each other well”. We have been kicking around some the value of backs like Christian McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook – wondering if those guys are still uber-elite type prospects. In general with these kind of players, my preference is to go with a younger player. Guys can burn out in a hurry at this position.   more »
